Forrest Thompson
Founder
Hello. My name is Forrest Thompson. I am the founder and Organizer of the Techroom Robotics Club.
With the assistance of all the wonderful people listed below, we have continued to make the Techroom as interesting and innovative as possible to the Community at large.

(This is me.)

Brian likes to build - both hardware and software. He's enjoys teaching and presenting, and works to contantly
improve his presentation skills. He's trained originally as an economist with business administration, but then
went back to get electronics and programming classes. These were to pursue his interest in AI, and generally
having fun with electronics and technology. Brian's latest robotics project is the DonkeyCar, an RC car-based self-driving car to work with Tensorflow, neural networks, and AI. His career includes time as a software test engineer at Microsoft in the codecs unit within the Digital Media division.

Katherine Orho
Human Resource
My role with the Techroom ranges from project management to research and administrative support. I am currently in the process of developing an internship program.
Outside of the club, I am a proud Life Insurance Agent and a new member of the National Association of Female Executives. I am currently studying to pass the aPHR certification exam.

Personally, I love learning and I love teaching. I am highly inspired to be a mentor to adults who are stepping into the technological world for the first time. I have mentored my dear friend, Nichelle, who does podcasts and maintains a YouTube channel.
I absolutely love the Techroom Robotics Club! It continues to open the doors of possibilities of development to me. I look forward to supporting the growth of our club and I have no regrets being a founding member because I know it will become a vital part of the community's development in the long run.

Phil McCary III
Hobby Roboticist Technologist (Hardware)
Phil considers himself a D.I.Y. Hobby Roboticist because he does not make a living at it! He enjoys creating, building and programing Robots of all kinds but his Favorite Robots are the autonomous ones. For example Phil enjoys autonomous line-following, maze solving, self-driving and movie replica robots. Like Brian, Phil works on his “Donkey” autonomous car to compete in the DIY RoboCars events. He is also a Star Wars fan and he plans on building a Star Wars MSE-6-Series Maintenance droid. One of Phil’s most current projects revolves around bringing an old (2002) iRobot ATRV-mini back to life.

I like to keep the club's timeline and events. Help with producing accurate literature promoting the Techroom and their members. Make special notices concerning important dates( Club origins, birthdays and anniversaries.
